1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when creating an account and using the Service:

Account information: name, email address, phone number, business name, and profile photo
Client data: names, email addresses, phone numbers, and pet information that you enter into the platform
Payment information: processed securely by Stripe — we do not store credit card numbers
Usage data: pages visited, features used, and interactions with the Service
Photos: profile, pet and cover photos are stored so they can appear on booking pages and are reachable by anyone with their link. Report card and visit photos are stored privately and shown only through the report card's private link.
Care details: pet care notes, vaccination and vet information, and home access details (such as lockbox or door codes). Home access details are encrypted before they are stored and are shown to the professional only around an active booking.
Signed documents: waivers and documents you sign, with the name you typed, the time and your IP address.
Security logs: IP address and browser type when a client portal sign-in link is used, and to limit abuse of public forms.

To process bookings and payments
To send appointment reminders by email
To send review requests after appointments
To communicate with you about your account, billing, and product updates
To improve the Service and develop new features

3. Third-Party Services

WagStack uses the following third-party services to operate:

Supabase: database hosting and authentication
Stripe: payment processing and subscription billing
Resend: transactional email delivery
Calendar files: we generate downloadable .ics calendar entries for appointments. We do not connect to, read, or write to your calendar account.
Vercel: application hosting and analytics
Google: optional “Sign in with Google” for professionals. We receive your name and email address from Google; we do not access your Google account data.

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the third-party services listed above as necessary to operate the platform, and as required by law.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial record-keeping purposes.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Export your data in a machine-readable format
Opt out of marketing communications

7. Cookies & Analytics

WagStack uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. Stripe sets its own cookies on payment forms to prevent fraud. We use Vercel Analytics to understand how the Service is used. Analytics data is aggregated and does not include personally identifiable information.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), secure authentication, row-level security policies on our database, and regular security reviews.

9. Children's Privacy

WagStack is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
